MAGNOLIA ROAD:  Sean Clark

Bio:  A native Seattleite, Sean grew up in the Ballard area in a time before the condo invasion.  He started playing guitar in Jr. High when his class schedule told him that’s what he would be doing, and it stuck.  He continued playing music through college, and picked up a little piano along the way.  While playing guitar with The Reislings in the early 90’s, Sean discovered quite accidentally that he could sing a bit, and started sharing the band’s lead singing role. After a hiatus from playing in bands, Sean started singing for The Brakes (www.meetthebrakes.com) with Tom in 2004.

Sean plays a ’70 Fender Strat,  a 90’s Jackson guitar, and a Nord Stage 88 keyboard.  He also borrows various other gear from Tom, and occasionally (well….) breaks his strings.  Sean has recorded a couple of CD’s worth of material at home, and you can check out some samples at http://www.myspace.com/seanclarksmusic.
